A message received in June from a reader of Watson’s Pier:

Thank you Joshua, a very sensitive portrayal of an important story. You transported me to the cliffs of Gallipoli – I could feel the icy drops of water from the ceiling of the Keep running down my spine. I recently flew a helicopter through Turkey, the memories of the Battle at Gallipoli against the ANZACs is still very much alive for them. Again, thank you for a beautiful book.
