Last weekend The Bookshop at Queenscliff organised a reading and discussion of Watson’s Pier.

While everyone in the audience nursed a glass of wine there was no horizontal surface on the lectern for the speaker to join the drinks. Questions from the audience covered a wide range of interests and issues relating to Gallipoli and Australia’s story. Warm thanks to MaryLou Gilbert for putting together the event and for co-ordinating a vibrant community of readers in Queenscliff.
